Calling all people interested in German news, politics, books, music, fashion, and more!
We all like to chat with friends about what’s happening in the world.
Aktuelle Themen opens up opportunities to talk about what’s happening right now in Germany. This is not necessarily about momentous world events, although we can discuss those, too. It’s about getting together socially to hear and talk about what’s capturing the media’s interest now, how life is changing in Germany, the ground-breaking and the everyday.
Above all, this is about keeping our connections alive. How we do that is up to you. One way would be to choose a topic for each get-together, but there are different ways to share our connections with Germany and all things German.
Come along to Von Zedlitz Common Room 606 at Te Herenga Waka—Victoria University of Wellington, 28 Kelburn Parade, Kelburn, at 6:00 pm on Wednesday, 5 June, to talk about how our new group might work, what interests us, and what we would enjoy. Everyone who has an interest in life today in Germany, in sharing ideas, and above all, in spending enjoyable time together is very welcome.
