Talk by Christiane Ker: Germany Revisited – people, places, personal impressions of a visit back home
Christiane Ker recently spent six months in her hometown of Aurich in East Frisia. In her bilingual talk, she will share her personal insights and reflections from that visit.
Christiane is a member of the Goethe Society’s committee and the Choirmaster of our German Liederkreis.
This will be an informal roundtable event with the opportunity to ask questions and have discussions in English and German.
You are warmly invited to attend this event on Wednesday, 7 May 2025. Feel free to pass this on to other friends and family interested in German culture, language, and the interrelationships between New Zealand and the German-speaking world.
This will be held at the Von Zedlitz Common Room 606 at Te Herenga Waka – Victoria University of Wellington, 28 Kelburn Parade, Kelburn, at 6:30 pm. Culinary contributions in the form of food and/or drinks are very welcome. Please RSVP by emailing us.
