Hallelujah! The Saxon who enchanted England – Georg Friedrich Händel becomes George Frideric Handel, after working his way triumphantly from Halle, via Hamburg, Italy, and Hannover, to London. He transformed English Music, which was under his spell for two hundred years.
A tuneful look at his colourful life and music.
